Adam first met Robbie at a charity benefit at The Regal Rooms in Hammersmith, where Adam was playing the piano for an opera singer, who Robbie was opening up for. After some seriously smooth talking involving Radiohead and Bloc Party, Adam managed to squeeze his way into the line-up and cement his place as one of Robbie’s integral band members. 

As keyboardist and backing vocalist for The Robbie Boyd Band Adam provides a more sensitive side to the music, whilst at times giving a more epic element to the sound. Adam's musical heroes consist of Bright Eyes, Bon Iver and Arcade Fire among others.
