He's performed alongside the likes of Charlie Simpson, Daughter, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Frank Turner, Jack Garrett, Jack Savoretti, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Kooks and Turin Brakes as well as supported McFly and The Feeling in front of 30,000 people at the Olympic Park. He's co-written with Barry Mason, Elena Tonra from Daughter, Matt Cardle from the X-factor, and none other than Ray Davies from The Kinks, as well as some of Nashville’s big-hitters such as Rhett Akins and James Otto. He has even sung along next to the one and only Chris Martin from Coldplay.
Robbie’s had lots of interest ranging from Bob Harris, Chris Difford of Squeeze and Simon Cowell of Psycho, as well as sold out headline London shows at venues like Bush Hall, The Garage and The Jazz Café. He's also played twice at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire supporting The Mutton Birds and was the first ever Brit to perform on the roof of the O2 Arena, second only to Bon Jovi. Robbie has also played at Bestival, Beautiful Days, Great Escape, The Isle of Wight Festival, Somersault, Standon Calling and Wilderness Festival amongst others and his live shows have been raved about in the Evening Standard, The Times (Lisa Verrico), and Time Out, with online support coming from Huffington Post, Music Week, and Record of the Day. His new albums 'Break The Chain' and 'Time Will Tell' have received great feedback and industry support and bring out Boyd's lighter side of life.
